AIZAWL, Nov 29 - Dr Shyam S Agarwal, Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes held a meeting with Department heads under Mizoram Government at Secretariat Conference Hall here on Friday.
In the meeting, Dr Agarwal mentioned, among other schemes for STs, that there is a provision by which the Central Government can help in the payment of school fee for selected children from BPL family so that such children may join good private schools.
Based on Right to Education this is in collaboration with School Education department and Social Welfare department, he said.
