GUWAHATI, March 14 � Navarang Club outplayed FCI Sports Club by five wickets in the Bhupen Chandra Mahanta Trophy GSA A Division Cricket League today.
In the one-sided affair at the Nehru Stadium here, FCI scored 145 for nine in the allotted 35 overs. But the Navarang batsmen took 31.2 overs in reaching the target as they scored 146 for five.
Kaushik Ojha (44), Lakhan Das (31) and Shyam Sarme (22) made the task easy for the winning team in chasing the target.
For FCI, Romario Sharma was the only notable scorer with 42.
