GUWAHATI, Feb 8 - Navajyoti Club stormed into the final of the XIth Bud Challenge Cricket Meet in memory of Jugal Kishore Newatia.
In the first semifinal of the championship at the Nehru Stadium here today, Navajyoti outplayed River Rine Club by 119 runs. Riding on veteran Nishanta Bordoloi�s 105 and Parag Das� 56 Navajyoti piled up a massive total of 279 for 7 in 40 overs after being put into bat first. River Rine batsmen miserably failed to chase the big total and managed to get 160 losing 8 wickets.
