GUWAHATI, March 6 - In a low scoring match of the GSA A Division Cricket League for the Nabin Chandra Tamuly trophy at the IIT ground in North Guwahati today, Navajyoti Club got the better of City Cricket Club by four wickets.
Put in to bat first, City Cricket Club could only manage 100 runs before being all out in 25 overs of the 30-over encounter. Rahul Hazarika was their top scorer with 41 while medium pacer Chanakya Sarma was the pick of the bowlers with four scalps.
In reply, Navajyoti Club scored 103 for six in 22 overs. Sunzow Brahma contributed 40 while Subham Mandal was the other notable contributor with 20.
