GUWAHATI, Aug 13: The Assam Sepak Takraw Association (ASTA) will host the 22nd Junior National Sepak Takraw Championship here from October 26 to 30.
Finalising this in the ASTA executive committee meeting held here yesterday, the State sepak takraw body prepared the budget for smooth conduct of the championship. Stating this in a press release, the ASTA secretary Bishnuram Nunisa revealed that this time an all India university team will also take part in the meet.
The meeting was chaired by president Sarat Borkotoky, vice president Rajib Prakash Baruah, State Olympic body officials Raj Kakoti, Anup Choudhury, Jaherul Haque, Gauhati University sports director Anjan Kakoti, among others.
