SILCHAR, Aug 30 - Around 200 sportspersons took part in a rally organised by the District Sports Association Silchar on the occasion of National Sports Day on Wednesday.
The National Sports Day is observed on the occasion of the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand.
Later in the day, an exhibition hockey match between the DSA President�s XI and DSA Secretary�s XI was played.
On the other hand, the Barak Upotyokya Krira Sangbadik Sanstha (BUKSS) also observed the day.
