GUWAHATI, May 13 � A dashing Nalbari team crushed Dibrugarh by eight wickets to storm into the last four-stage of the U-13 Umananda Bora Memorial Inter District Cricket Championship.
In the last quarterfinal match at the Barsapara stadium here today, Nalbari put Dibrugarh into bat and restricted them to 108 in 26.3 overs.
Manash Pratim Baruah was the only notable contributor with 25 as Tushar Dutta destroyed the Dibrugarh innings with a five-wicket haul.
Deka brothers of Nibir and Nihar again batted with great deal of determination and took Nalbari to the winning target remaining unbeaten with 41 and 18 respectively. They scored 109 for the loss of two wickets in 21.3 overs. Nibir faced 57 balls and cracked four boundaries.
