NALBARI, Oct 27 - Deputy Commissioner of Nalbari Anant Lal Gyani on Wednesday visited three primary schools under Barigog Banbhag education block and took classes. He arrived at Dihjari LP School, Sahpur LP School and Uttan Chandra LP School and entered the classrooms to take stock of the academic skills of the students.
The Deputy Commissioner discussed the academic issues with the students and teachers of the respected schools. He also monitored the mid-day meal served to the students. He further discussed the hygiene of the meal with the headmasters and checked the registers maintained for the scheme.
Gyani also visited the Dihjari Anganwadi Kendra, Ghohkuchi Anganwadi Kendra and Nilpur Anganwadi Kendra and reviewed the substitute nutrients foods scheme being implemented in the anganwadi centres. He also verified the quality of the food items served to the children.
On Tuesday, the Deputy Commissioner also visited the Mornoipar Moqutab LP School, Joymangla LP School and monitored the mid-day meal scheme.
