GUWAHATI, Nov 9 - Indian Idol Junior runner-up Nahid Afrin gave a musical performance at the ongoing 15th Leo International Expo here today.
Nahid sang a number of Assamese, Hindi and Bengali chartbusters, said a statement.
At another function at the event, rowing player Nafisa Sadik was felicitated.
Yesterday, the Leo Expo Artiste Award and Leo Expo Journalist Award were presented to eminent actor Dinesh Das and senior journalist Pradip Baruah respectively at the function, the statement added.
Reputed actor late Indra Bania was also honoured and awarded posthumously on Sunday for his service to the Assamese film industry. The actor�s wife, Binu Bania, received Rs 50,000 in cash, an eri shawl and a certificate of appreciation on behalf of her deceased husband, it added.
