Zeliang stressed that for all round development of the State, every individual must change their mindset and be truthful to oneself for nothing can be changed without understanding, cooperation and contribution of the people.
He said the leaders from Ao community have a great responsibility and should act as an elder brother in the Naga society.
Former Nagaland Chief Secretary Alemtemshi Jamir maintained that begging and extortion was never a part of Naga culture. He called upon the people to understand that we must work hard to sustain ourselves. The dream of the Nagas cannot be materialised until we revive our culture of hard work, Jamir stated.
