NAGAON, June 30 - On completion of 210 years of its service to the nation, State Bank of India organised town hall meetings in different parts of the nation. SBI Nagaon branch along with its regional business office organised such a programme at Khagen Mahanta auditorium on June 28 evening.
A number of customers attended the function and appreciated the facilities offered by the SBI to customers. However, they put forward a number of suggestions like opening of evening branches etc.
AGM GC Sarma welcomed the guests at the beginning. SBI Nagaon will observe the Bank�s Day on July 1 with a cleanliness drive in the morning where officers and staff will take part, AGM Sarma informed.
