BOKAKHAT, Feb 15 � Nagaon cruised into the semifinal stage of the U-17 Inter District Cricket Championship for the RG Baruah Trophy.
In a quarterfinal match of the championship at the Bokakhat Sports Complex ground here today, Nagaon defeated Kaliabor by four wickets. In reply to Kaliabor�s 166 all out in 39.5 overs Nagaon smacked up 167 losing six wickets with 1.4 overs to spare.
Pallab Sen (37) Mrityunjay Deka (37), Manik Baglari (30) were the notable contributors for Kaliabor while Nagaon bowlers Raj Bora and Subhash Prajapati took two wickets each.
Rajib Karmakar of Nagaon top scored with 55 while Raj Bora added 26. Asif Ahmed and Dilip Kashyap took three and two wickets for Kaliabor.
