DIMAPUR, March 31 - Nagaland is likely to get the School of Planning and Architecture and an engineering college soon under the sponsorship of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.
This was disclosed by Nagaland Parliamentary Secretary for Higher and Technical Education Deo Nukhu while addressing the annual techno-cultural festival �Ekarikthin� of the National Institute of Technology Nagaland at NIT campus, Chumukedima here today.
Once the institutes are set up, he said, the faculty and students would benefit and solicited their cooperation and support towards this end.
Sharing his thoughts on Ekarikthin, which means �sharing the same heritage� in Sanskrit, Nukhu said that the platform will give opportunity to the students of NIT and other institutions to come together to showcase their talents and potentials in various fields.
