Nagaland employees suspend stir

DIMAPUR, March 20 - The All State Services Associations of Nagaland has temporarily suspended their proposed pen/tool-down strike after the Cabinet sub-committee assured that their demand for implementation of 7th ROP would be taken up in the State Cabinet.

The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees� Association (CANSSEA) president and convenor of ASSA Kohima S Takatuba Aier, in a press statement, today informed that the decision to call off the strike was arrived at the joint meeting of Cabinet sub-committee and office bearers of All State Services Associations on March 19.

Meanwhile, the office bearers of the Associations have convened a meeting at CANSSEA conference hall in Kohima on March 23.

Earlier, the State Services Associations have demanded implementation of 7th ROP w.e.f. March 1 and threatened to launch fresh stir.
