DIMAPUR, June 9 - Ad hoc teachers of the 2015 batch have decided to launch the third phase of their agitation from June 11 till further notice by boycotting classes. They are demanding regularisation of their services.

The All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers Group 2015 Batch, in a press release today, said the decision to launch the stir was unanimously taken in its executive meeting held on Friday.

The ad-hoc teachers group has appealed to all its members from across the State to remain mentally prepared for the proposed agitation.

It may be mentioned here that the Sarba Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers of Nagaland also launched the third phase of their ongoing agitation on Wednesday to press for redress of grievances, including pending salaries.

Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy on Friday said the Government cannot meet all the demands of the SSA teachers. He also warned that the State Government might be compelled to take stern action against the agitating teachers as per law if they continued their agitation.
