DIMAPUR, July 19 - Naga Hoho believes that the settlement to the decades-old Naga political problem would definitely pave the way for NE to usher in a peaceful atmosphere and to develop the region at par with rest of the world.
The apex Naga tribal organisation issued a statement on Thursday in the backdrop of Manipur CM N Niren Singh�s statement in New Delhi saying that his government would take �extreme steps if the Naga deal hurts Manipur�s interest.�
Terming Singh�s statement as �figment of imagination,� the Hoho said it was perturbed by his statement. It appealed to the CM and the Meitei people of Manipur to be conscious enough to deal with such issues which are highly sensitive in nature.
