GUWAHATI, July 31 - As a tribute to the legendary poet Hiren Bhattacharjee, his poem Endharoloi Haat Meli Dilu, Kijani Tumak Pau has been developed into a musical video under the aegis of the Contemporary Art Group (CAG) Entertainment. The aim is to take forth Hiruda�s legacy to the future generation.

Starring in this video is veteran actor Abdul Mazid. The cast also includes Abhijit Barman, Prantik Phukan, Saurabh Kumar Das and Hemanta Debnath. The melody has been scored by JP Das, while violinist Bidyut Mishra has lent his musical expertise.

The song has been sung by Hemanta Debnath and the music has been directed by Abhijit Barman. Ace photographers Samsul Huda Patgiri and Jayanta Borah have worked together in order to capture the beauty of the song through their lenses.

The video has been made under the direction of national award winner Kaushik Borbora, assisted by Champak Kumar Deka.

The video was released on the occasion of the poet�s birth anniversary function organised under the banner of �Hiren Bhattacharya Trust� with support from the Department of Cultural Affairs, at Rabindra Bhawan here recently.
