Mukul Kuli passes away

GUWAHATI, Nov 20 � Mukul Kuli, a senior scientist of the Forensic Science Laboratory here, died at his Kahilipara official quarter here around 1-50 am today. He was suffering from brain tumour for the past about two years. He was 48.

A cyber crime expert, Kuli is also known for his invention of a weaving machine. He also got a nomination from the United States as a scientist.

Kuli was loved by all, who came across him, for his politeness. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and a son. His last rites were performed at his native village Namoni Dorge in Lakhimpur district this afternoon.

Founder president of the Mising Agom Kebang Prof Tabu Ram Taid mourned the death of Kuli as a great loss to the society. Mising Autonomous Council Chief Executive member Dr Ranoj Pegu, Autonomous Council�s Principal Secretary Binit Kumar Saikia and the Subansiri Suraksha Sangram Samiti have also mourned the death of Kuli.
