HAILAKANDI, April 13 - Governor Jagdish Mukhi will be on a three-day visit to Barak Valley from April 19 to 22. He will arrive in Silchar on April 19 and will visit Karimganj on April 20 and Hailakandi on April 21.
During his maiden visit to the three districts, Mukhi will interact with the DCs and security agencies to take stock of the law and order situation. He will take stock of Central Govt schemes being implemented in the districts. He will also visit various educational institutions, hospitals and offices to oversee the cleanliness drive undertaken. The Governor will also interact with different religious, social, sports, literary organisations and student bodies, besides members of political parties, MPs, MLAs and other elected members.
