GUWAHATI, April 2 - Two leading bodybuilders of the country including the likes of Mr India titleholder Javed Ali Khan of Indian Railways and Ravindra Mallick of Indian Air Force have already arrived here to take part in the Mr Saraighat RG Baruah Memorial Classic Bodybuilding Championship which will be held at the ITA Centre here tomorrow.
Organising secretary Bhabajyoti Goswami informed that altogether 20 leading bodybuilders of the country, who have won Mr India titles in different categories, have been invited for this classic bodybuilding championship and most of them will arrive here tomorrow morning from different places.
The title winner will become richer by Rs 1.25 lakh while the second and third position holders will get Rs 1 lakh and Rs 80,000 respectively. All the top 10 position holders will be handed over cash awards along with gifts. Competition among the State bodybuilders will also be conducted simultaneously along with the Mr Saraighat contest and the top three position winners will get Rs 25,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. The competition will start at 6 pm.
