MPS students excel in CBSE board exams

GUWAHATI, July 15 - The students of Maria�s Public School (MPS) have put up a brilliant performance in All India Secondary School Exam (AISSE) and All India Senior School Certificate Exam (AISSCE) conducted by the CBSE.

Results of AISSE (Class X) have been declared today while those of AISSCE (Class XII) were announced on Monday.

Out of 123 students of the school who had appeared for the AISSCE, 46 students secured above 90 per cent marks with two students � Sugandha Bora and Nirmita Bhattacharya � scoring highest 97.6 per cent in Humanities.

In Commerce stream, Disha Modi scored 97.8 per cent while Akanshya Dutta got 95.4 per cent in Science stream. Altogether 41 students scored above 80 per cent.

In AISSE, 60 students of MPS scored above 90 per cent, the highest being 98.8 per cent scored by Krishant Sethia and Shoaib Aman. A total of 59 students scored above 80 per cent and 33 above 70 per cent.

Moreover, many students have obtained 100 marks in subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, etc.

Don Bosco topper: Naina Jain, a student of Guwahati�s Don Bosco School, has secured 98.6 per cent in AISSE. Naina has topped in her school. A resident of Chenikuthi area, she aspires to be an engineer.

RPS students shine: Rajdhani Public School at Nazirakhat in Kamrup (Metro) district achieved 100 per cent results in CBSE Class X and XII exams.

In Class XII exam, Hrithick Jalan and Kundan Bora were the top scorers of the school with 94 per cent and 93 per cent marks respectively. Similarly, Udipta Devi scored highest 97 per cent in Class X exam in the school.
