GUWAHATI, Nov 4 - The Assam Mountaineering Association (AMA) will organise training programmes to impart knowledge of mountaineering to youths and kids. Basic rock climbing training courses will be conducted for youth between 14 to 40 years from November 25 to December 2, December 8-9 and December 16 to 30 respectively.
An adventure oriented programme will be conducted for children between four to 14 years from December 22 to 25. The AMA will also select trainees from these two programmes and will take them to the higher Himalayan range in their next phase of programmes.
