GUWAHATI, Aug 24 - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Government of Assam for the construction of an RCC box cell culvert at Air Force Gate Road (near the Padma Lake) of the Guwahati airport, at the North East Regional Headquarters, Guwahati.
The MoU was signed under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme of AAI.
The signed documents were exchanged in the presence of RN Kalita, Guwahati West MLA; DK Kamra, Regional Executive Director, AAI; BK Tailong, Airport Director, Guwahati airport; and senior officials of AAI and the State government.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 29.33 lakh and is expected to be completed within six months. According to the AAI (NE), the RCC box cell culvert will have a dimension of 12mx6mx5m.
