GUWAHATI, Jan 3 - An MoU was signed on January 1 between the Department of Transport, Govt of Assam and State Bank of India for integration of SBI e-pay with �SARATHI� portal for online application and collection of fee for driving licence, said a press release here today.
Shortly the public will be able to apply and pay online the required fee for their driving licence including learner licence themselves.
The MoU was signed by Manojit Saikia, Deputy General Manager-(Digital & Transaction Banking) on behalf of the State Bank of India and Manoj Kumar, Commissioner of Transport on behalf of the Govt of Assam in the presence of Circle CGM Sunil Kumar Tandon, Digmanu Gupta, General Manager-(Network-II) and Ajay Kumar Singh, General Manager-(Network-I).
