Also present were Srinath Raman, chief operating officer, KOViD; Prof Jyotiprakash Tamuli, coordinator, IQAC, GU, and a few faculty members and officers of the university.

The MoU has paved the way for setting up of an advanced, state-of-the-art infrastructure facility for a data analytical academy within the GU premises.

It is worth mentioning that the signing of the MoU is a follow-up measure of the ongoing week-long national level workshops on Data Analytics in R using HPC (Bigdata) and LabVIEW in the GU campus where more than 140 participants from different institutions are learning the skill-sets required to use advanced technologies either to incubate their innovative ideas and give shape to start-ups or enhance their employability.
