Motivational programme for students organised

GOALPARA, Aug 29 - A day-long motivational programme on �How to motivate students towards building a good career and time management strategies� was organised by the Oasis Trust, Goalpara at the District Agriculture Training Hall here recently.

The chief guest on the occasion District Agriculture Officer, Budhindranath Hazarika, underlined the importance of organising such a programme for students because it will motivate students to work hard for achieving their academic goals by encouraging them to put more efforts. He also added that such programmes bring out positive attitudes from the students which enhances overall performance. Hazarika further gave valuable suggestions to the students and thanked the Oasis Trust for organising such a programme.

Resource person Noimur Rahman, who is the CEO, Chementor and also the winner of Edmundian of the year, 2012 award delivered an attractive motivational talk with power-point presentation. He also dwelt at length on topics relating to motivating students for a good career, time management strategies and how to prepare for board examinations and crack competitive exams like JEE/NEET and others.

A booklet on �How to Excel in Examinations? � Special attention to preparation of NEET/JEE examinations� written by Noimur Rahman was also distributed among the students.

About 160 students from Oasis Academy and Oasis Academy Junior College participated in the programme and underwent �career assessment test� and �study skills assessment test� conducted by the resource person.

The other guest of honour includes Prof A Kashem, Prof ATM Forhad Ali, Ruhul Amin (ADO), Sohrab Ali (retd IS), Ashubodh Kalita, Principal OAJC.

Earlier principal of Oasis Academy, Shridhi Bharti, welcomed the guests and felicitated all the guests with phulam gamusas. Trust president KA Akanda presided over the programme and presented the �Certificate of Appreciation� to the resource person.

The programme was anchored by A Mofidul Islam, while the vote of thanks was offered by principal, Oasis Academy.
