Mother-son duo commits suicide at Numaligarh

DERGAON, Aug 4 - Sensation prevails at Numaligarh in Golaghat district following a mother and differently-abled son of a family committing suicide last night.

Ganga Chetri (40), wife of Prakash Chetri and her son Bhure Chetri (14) of No. 2 Barpak village in Numaligarh under Kamargaon PS were found seriously ill after consuming poison last night after dinner.

The neighbours made arrangements to take them to the hospital but Bhure died instantly. Ganga died on way to the hospital.

Ganga�s family members however alleged that the incident was a case of planned murder. Police investigation is on.
