Morigaon, Tinsukia win

GUWAHATI, June 5 � In two low scoring matches of the Dilip Sarma Memorial U-14 Inter District Coaching Centre/Cricket Academy Cricket here today, Morigaon trounced Karimganj by eight wickets and Tinsukia downed Rangia by 10 wickets.

At the Nehru Stadium here, put into bat, Karimganj were all out for 67 in 26.4 overs. Morigaon batsmen took 15.5 overs to overtake the Karimganj total losing two wickets.

In the other match at the NF Railway Stadium, Maligaon, Rangia were asked to bat first and Tinsukia bowler Kunal Dhar wrecked their innings at a meagre 21. In reply, Tinsukia scored 22 for no loss in 16 overs.

Brief scores: Karimganj 67/10 in 26.4 overs (Soubik Roy 18, Chand Mohammed 5/13, Pankaj Das 2/0, Azizur Rahman 2/26, Bubu Borkakoti 1/17). Morigaon 70/2 in 15.5 overs (Azizur Rahman 32 n.o, Pankaj Das 10 n.o, Soubik Roy 2/22).

Rangia 21/10 in 16 overs (Kunal Dhar 7/1, Suvam Sarma 2/2, Anirban Bhattacharjee 1/5 in). Tinsukia 22/0.
