MORIGAON, April 9 - The Annual General Meeting of Morigaon District Sports Association was held here yesterday.
Apart from discussing on various matters for the development of sports in this area, the new executive council was also formed in the meeting.
Chief Executive Member (CEM), Tiwa Autonomous Council, Paban Manta became the new president of the body while Jitu Bordoloi has been elected as new general secretary.
The body features three vice presidents � Ranjan Gohain, Jakir Hussain and Joy Amsi while Mukul Hazarika has been nominated as the new treasurer. Jayanta Deka became the joint secretary of the organisation. The new committee having 21 executive members will take charge after Rongali Bihu.
