TURA, April 18 - The continuing search for arms hidden by the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) in East Garo Hills (EGH) produced more results with the police today recovering arms and ammunition from Bawa Duragre and Doringkegre villages.

The arms and ammunition were recovered after continued search for over three days with villagers joining the police in locating the hidden stash.

With the assistance of villagers, we managed to recover one RPG, one rocket, four 51 mm mortar shells, two pistols, bullet proof plates and BP vests. The search will continue with the support of the villagers, said the SP of EGH, Ringrang TG Momin.

The development comes on the heels of another recovery last week from close to the same villages.
