Shillong, July 13 (PTI): Meghalaya Governor Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary has asked youths to be entrepreneurs and explore opportunities in the field of Information Technology. The Governor called upon the youths to "think big to achieve big".
"It is high time people of North-east adopted means to open up companies in the region for the benefit of people," Mooshahary said while addressing a gathering to mark the 10th anniversary of SS Netcom, the first IT company in North-east.
Future will be created by the people who dream and technology is the product of a dream, he added.
Technological developments provide great scope for the development of humanity as well as help in job creation, the Governor said, adding that the future of the region lies in 3 Ts - namely Technology, Trade and Tourism.
