GUWAHATI, Nov 1 - In a bid to bridge the gap between the book stalls and the prospective readers, a mobile book shop was today launched in Guwahati.
Named Maa Mobile Book Stall, it was inaugurated at a function held in Chandmari in the presence of 50 writers and poets.
The idea was first floated by mental health counsellor and social activist Tripty Devi. The shop will primarily deal in books on moral values aimed at encouraging reading habits among children.
