TURA, July 7 - Daughter of Baghmara MLA, Samuel M Sangma suffered minor injuries after their vehicle fell off a rickety bridge on the National Highway 62 at Dumnikura in South Garo Hills.
The vehicle, according to police, was being driven by one of the daughters of the MLA with two of her siblings seated behind. The MLA, however, was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident this afternoon. They were on their way to Tura from South Garo Hills district when the incident took place. The vehicle � a Toyota Endeavour was badly damaged.
�Only the youngest daughter was injured in the accident. She suffered minor injuries to her leg and forehead. The two other daughters were unhurt,� said SP of West Garo Hills, Dr MGR Kumar.
