DERGAON, July 3 � Three persons were killed and two others were seriously injured when a Tata Sumo collided with a Mahindra XLV head on at Badlipar on NH-37 under Dergaon police station at around 12:30 pm today.
According to information, the Tata Sumo (AS05-B-2145) was coming from Bokakhat to Dergaon, while the Mahindra XLV (AS03-M-8356) was going towards Bokakhat. Jayanta Hazarika (53) and Chandra Singh Kro (40), travelling on the Sumo, died on the spot, while Dhrubajyoti Neog (36) of the other vehicle died on the way to hospital.
