GUWAHATI, Nov 18 � The Bharatiya Janata Minority Morcha, Guwahati district committee, today staged a sit-in stir on the bank of the Dighalipukhuri in protest against the failure of the government in checking jihadi activities in the State.
The Morcha said the government has not taken strong steps to check the jihadis on account of its votebank politics.
The Morcha demanded the government immediately stop the proliferation of jihadis and mete out stringent punishment to those involved in such activities.
