RANGIYA, July 15 - Local MLA and Minister of State for Revenue and Irrigation, Bhabesh Kalita as a part of Sampark Abhiyan, visited the houses of some leading citizens of the locality today and interacted with them about the progress and implementation of different welfare projects under the BJP-led Government at the Centre and the State.
The Minister exchanged views with the citizens about implemention of the ongoing schemes of the BJP Government for the benefit of the weaker section of the society. The Minister met Srimanta Sanoardev Sangha Padadhikar Bhanendra Nath Deka, former Rangiya College Principal Umesh Goswami, social workers Raju Seraugi, Kalpa Deka and Niranjan Kalita, besides some other leading citizens and tried to know their views on the activities and achievements of the BJP Government under the leadship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in the State.
The Minister was accompanied by BJP party officials and other workers during the said Abhiyan.
