RANGIYA, Feb 2 - With a view to foster a sense of peace, unity and fitness in the minds of the people, the Indian Army under its goodwill public welfare activities, has organised a mini marathon starting from Rangiya College playground on February 3.
The event, which will cover a total of 12 kms will be held in two separate categories for both males and females. Prize money worth Rs 10,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively will be awarded separately to the first, second and third best runners in both the categories.
Besides, first 1000 finishers of the run will be awarded with certificates and T-shirts by the Army. The organisers have solicited participation of all in the event, which will start at 5 am.
