GUWAHATI, Oct 31 � Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar emerged winners in the CBSE Cluster I Football Tournament hosted by South Point School at the SAI complex here today.
In the final Miles Bronson boys edged past Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, Umrangsu 2-1.
In the match for third place Assam Rifles School prevailed over Sainik School, Goalpara with a margin of 1-0 goal.
The champion and the runner up teams will now proceed to compete at the CBSE National Football Championship to be held at Anand, Gujarat. Altogether 37 schools of this region took part in the meet.
