Meiraba bags U-17 badminton crown

GUWAHATI, Dec 18 - Manipur boy Maisnam Meiraba clinched the boys U-17 singles title in the 42nd Junior National Badminton Championship which came to an end at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here this evening.

In the thrilling boys U-19 final, Aryaman Tandon of Air India beat his teammate Rahul Bhardhvaj BM 10-21, 21-18, 21-19. In the closing function State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Kumar Waii were present and gave away the prizes along with other guests.
