Meghalaya, Mizoram in final

GUWAHATI, Feb 27 - Meghalaya will lock horns with Mizoram in the second edition of the Dr T Ao Centenary North East International NEC Gold Cup (U-21) Football Championship.

In the first semifinal match at the SAI ground here, Meghalaya beat Sikkim 2-0 while in the second encounter Mizoram thrashed Arunachal Pradesh 5-0.

For Meghalaya, Belton Lartong and Ronald K Nonghait scored a goal each in the 39th and added time respectively. For Mizoram, F Halmenttuanga (18th minute), PC Halhriat Puia (45+1 and 80th), Flarous Llruat Kima (51st), La Rem Ruata (85th) were the goal scorers.

The final will be played at the SAI ground tomorrow. The kick-off is at 5.30 pm.
