DIMAPUR, Dec 6 - A meeting to discuss and indentify if persons with disabilities have genuine problems towards their electoral participation was held at Dimapur Deputy Commissioner�s office.
ADC Elizabeth Ngullie while chairing the meeting held on Friday said the differently-abled people also have the right to vote. She said the meeting was convened to get some idea as to how things for the disabled people can be improved.
Dimapur Election Officer Toshi informed that the Election Commission has suggested facilitating the involvement of people with disability in the election process.
