GUWAHATI, May 27 - The third Regional Conference on Head and Neck Oncology is being held here tomorrow by Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati, in association with the Foundation of Head & Neck Oncology (FHNO), India.
The conference will also see a symposium on the management of skull base and parotid tumours with the Dr KC Borooah Foundation oration. The programme will start with a cadaver dissection course on anterior and lateral skull base approaches at the auditorium of Regional Dental College and Forensic Medicine Department of Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati.
Dr C Rayppa from Apollo Hospital, Chennai, Dr PS Pai from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and Dr Ravi Kannan from Cachar Cancer Hospital in Silchar will moderate the sessions. There will be a post-lunch CME programme on multidisciplinary management of skull base and parotid tumours at the BBCI auditorium.
The Dr KC Borooah Foundation oration will be delivered by renowned head and neck surgeon Dr Produl Hazarika, who is currently working at Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
