GUWAHATI, June 11 - The annual convention of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Assam was held on June 9 at Hotel Landmark here, a press release stated today.
An open session was held on �Environment & Sustainable Tourism�, in which Jadav Payeng, popularly known as the �Forest Man of India�, spoke at length on the topic. Rajesh Prasad, Principal Secretary Tourism, and ATDC Chairman Jayanta Malla Barua attended the event, along with stakeholders from the tourism industry.
