DIBRUGARH, Feb 25 - The Assam masters women athletics team was adjudged best team among 30 participating States in the 38th National Masters Athletics Championship, held at Hyderabad GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium from February 21 to 25.
Altogether 4500 athletes, both men and women, in the age group of above 35 to 90 years participated in the championship.
Assam team bagged a record number of 57 gold medals in the championship, stated a release.
