GUWAHATI, July 12 - The All Assam Unnayan Parishad today took out a protest march on the city streets demanding immediate removal of Assam Cricket Association (ACA) general secretary Bikash Baruah who has been embroiled in many controversies including allegations of financial irregularities.
In a statement, the Parishad said that Bikash Baruah was using the ACA to promote his personal interests and rendered it into a den of murky politics and sycophancy. �The ACA�s image has taken a severe beating due to the nefarious activities of Baruah, and it is in the interests of Assam Cricket that he should be sacked immediately,� it said.
