GUWAHATI, Nov 13 - Basistha Police has questioned a number of persons, including the sons and daughter-in-law of Rina Das, who was murdered by unidentified miscreants at her residence recently.
Das was a former Assistant Director of National Sample Survey Office and a resident of Pilingkata area of the city. According to a source, police suspect some close relatives of the deceased woman of being involved in the murder.
Her semi-nude body with multiple grievous injuries was found inside the bathroom of her house by the family members on November 9 evening. Police said that she was not on good terms with other family members and close relatives for many days.
