Guwahati, Feb 4: Noted singer Manisha Hazarika and Editor of Amar Asom Manoj Kumar Goswami have been selected for this year’s Leo Expo Silpi Sanman and Leo Expo Sangbadik Sanman, respectively.
The announcement was made by the selection committee comprising noted Assamese actress Moloya Goswami senior journalists Prashanta Rajguru and Pronoy Bordoloi at a function held here on Friday, a press release said here today.
Earlier on the day, the 20th International Leo Expo got off to a colourful start at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre.
The awards carry cash of Rs 50,000, a plaque and a shawl. The awards would be presented at a function to be held on February 12, 2021.
The expo will remain open for visitors daily from 11 am to 9 pm and it will come to an end on February 22.
