The two day-long first Bonsai workshop in the state was conceived by Horticulturist and Assistant Professor Dr Senjam Jinus from FGI,College of Agricultural Sciences, Hengbung under the guidance of Homen Kangjam. The workshop will provide bonsai enthusiasts and beginners the opportunity to enhance the skill, learn and refine their bonsai arts by offering high-quality bonsai demonstration and hands-on practical in an encouraging and professional atmosphere with various well known bonsai enthusiasts of Manipur, according to the organisers.
During the inaugural session of the workshop, Dr Senjam Jinus will make a presentation on "science behind the bonsai". The eminent bonsai artists will interact with the participants.
