IMPHAL, Nov 16 - The Manipur Police badminton team bagged the runner-up trophy in the 8th All India Police Badminton Championship which was held from November 3 to 6 at Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi. In the doubles� event, 1 MR Commandant Th Radheshyam and 1 MR Asst Commandant Ch Bimol Singh lifted the above 45 years doubles title. Radheshyam and 6 IRB Asst Commandant A Basanta Sharma�s team clinched the above 50 years doubles title. In the singles� event, Radheshyam again emerged champion in the above 50 years while 6 IRB Asst Commandant A Basanta Sharma bagged the runner-up�s trophy. Asst Commandant Ch Bimol also clinched the above 55 years singles title in the championship.
