Manipur Police SC win polo title

IMPHAL, Feb 19 � Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) A beat Tekcham Polo Club A by a margin of 4-3 goals in the final of the 28th N Hazari & Dr N Tombi State polo tournament at the Mapal Kangjeibung ground here today. The winning MPSC A team went home richer with Rs 20,000 and the winner�s trophy while the runners-up team got Rs 10,000. A Somorjit of MPSC A was adjudged the best player of the tournament.

Langthabal MLA Karam Shyam, Principal Secretary O Nabakishore of Commerce and Industries Department, president Dr S Joykumar Singh of the Manipur Equestrian Association and Naorem Ongbi Sanatombi Devi were the chief dignitaries present in the closing ceremony.
